Oldcastle Precast/Amcor Precast is located on a 12-acre site south of Denver in Littleton, Colorado. Amcor produces underground precast concrete structures for communications, power, electric, water, and sewer manhole products. Amcor also produces short span bridges, railroad crossings, oil/water separators, grease interceptors, custom precast products, and above ground ConVault fuel tanks.
The facility consists of a 6,000-sq. ft. sales and administration office, and a 2,000-sq. ft. engineering office. The 72,000-sq. ft. production area boasts ten cranes ranging from a jib crane, three 15-ton high-speed bridge cranes and a 50-ton Shuttle-lift. There are three cement silos and five aggregate pits, which supply a mixer that is capable of mixing two yards of concrete at a time in less than 2 minutes. Products are loaded and stored with the help of six 15-ton forklifts. Deliveries are made with our fleet of seven 17-ton boom trucks to locations throughout the territory.
